Day 1: From Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park for Game Viewing
Your journey begins with pickup from your hotel, airport, or ferry in Dar es Salaam. Enjoy a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park, with a lunch stop in Morogoro along the way. Upon arrival, head straight into an afternoon-to-evening game drive across Mikumi’s savannahs. Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions before returning to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening. Meals: Dinner -
Day 2: Mikumi to Nyerere National Park & Sunset Boat Safari
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Mikumi, followed by breakfast. Continue your journey south to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous), arriving in time for lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River — a serene experience where you’ll encounter hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
Spend the day exploring the vast wilderness of Nyerere National Park on a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Day 4: Morning Walking Safari & Return to Dar es Salaam
Start the day with an exciting guided walking safari, lasting about two and a half hours.
