After lunch and a short rest, embark on a light acclimatization hike toward Mawenzi Volcano before returning to camp for dinner. These acclimatization hikes are crucial for success on Kilimanjaro and help reduce altitude-related discomfort. Day 6: Ascent to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Horombo Camp
Start your summit attempt around midnight. Trek under the starlit sky from Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. The climb is demanding but immensely rewarding, offering breathtaking sunrise views from the summit. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Kibo Hut for rest, then continue to Horombo Camp (3,720 m) for the night. Trekking Time: 12–14 hours Distance: 21 km (13 miles) -
